Bred and spread in Los Angeles, Ninefinger is a take no prisoners hard rock band, that has been blowing audiences away with their high-octane rock sound and sexy, vigorous live performances. They always leave the crowd screaming for more.

Ninefinger is fronted by the super charismatic Mike Winney, whose raw sex appeal and gritty, guttural lead vocals always seduce a crowd. Mike is complemented by the hard-hitting riff doctor, Joshua Picard, whose electric riffs are renowned for shocking a crowd to life. To complete the incredible Ninefinger sound, we have the mysterious, high-pulsating bassist, Cristian D’Sturba, whose unpredictable live performances always bring down the house; and the drumming master, Buddah, who uses his mystical power of the beats to move the crowd.

Beginnings: In 2000, guitarist Joshua Picard moved from Rhode Island to Los Angeles where he set out to start a rock band, but not just any band – he wanted the best. Enter lead singer, Mike Winney, who had just arrived to LA from Arizona. Joshua and Mike met through mutual friends and almost immediately starting playing gigs. Realizing they found magic, Joshua and Mike formed Ninefinger. In the summer of 2005, first-generation Filipino American, drummer Eric “Buddah” Soria joined the band. In 2010, fresh out of Argentina to LA, bassist Cristian D’Sturba joined. Finally, Joshua and Mike with a full, monster band, are poised to set the music business on fire.

In 2007, Ninefinger released their first EP, The Beginning. In 2009, they released their first full length CD, Year of the Finger, of which the track “Speed Queen” can be found on the upcoming soundtrack for the motion picture Repo. Ninefinger has rocked the best clubs in L.A., Vegas, and A.Z. and are bringing the Ninefinger experience to a city near you.
